We are seeking world changers that want to take their leadership skills to the next level by becoming an officer for HoPe or as we call them a Legacy Leader.

Legacy leaders get to be in charge of their Chapter and have the opportunity to change lives - starting with their own.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE A LEGACY LEADER
(HoPe Officer)?

Students interested must complete a Legacy Leader Application in order to be considered for the position.
Must be a high school student.
Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA (weighted).
Must be passionate about HoPe's mission, committed, a team player, and ready to be a world changer.
Must be able to commit for one (1) full academic year.
Must demonstrate passion and dedication to lead and serve your high school's HoPe chapter.
Must be in good standing with the high school.
If selected, the Legacy Leader will be required to attend the exclusive HoPe Youth Leadership Summit from July 18th - July 20th, 2024.

2 LEGACY LEADER SELECTIONS

Notifications: Monday, April 15th, 2024 at 6:00 PM EST

Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified of its status via email.

If selected, you will be welcomed and provided details on accessing the Legacy Leader Training portal.

3 ATTEND THE EXCLUSIVE +
MANDATORY HOPE YOUTH LEADERSHIP SUMMIT (HYLS)

Dates: July 18th - July 20th, 2024

All accepted Legacy Leaders will be required to attend the HoPe Youth Leadership Summit. Attendance is required and mandatory.

The HoPe Youth Leadership Summit, also known as the HYLS for short is a 3-day exclusive event designed just for Legacy Leaders! The HYLS is one of the Legacy Leaders' most cherished and awaited events.

What can you expect?

Receive world-class leadership training
Attend life-changing workshops
Participate in community bonding activities
Connect with your chapter team and your Generation 16 HoPe Fam from across the state
Have an amazing time with music, food, and games!

Further details, including logistics, financial support, registration, etc., will be sent after G16 Legacy Leaders have been selected.

This year's HYLS will be hosted at the University of North Georgia, located in Gainesville, GA. *Location is subject to change, but all parties involved will be notified ahead of time.*
